Jose Napoles came from Cuba, but is considered Mexican because thats what he chose to be. same thing with Tszyu. this is nationality, not ethnicity, race or cultural background.Comment

I was born and raised in Bosnia, but I have been living in Norway the last 16 years. I still don't consider myself a Norwegian. I consider myself a Bosnian.Comment

Which is entirely true, except his mother is also Welsh so he is welsh by blood and he was brought up their. He was welsh born (from his mums welsh fanny if you need clarification) and bred whereas Tszyu went to Oz in his mid-20's and it shows in his accent that he is no Ozi. Plus Calzaghe is British by nationality whichever home nation he may choose. Saying Tszyu is an Ozi is like saying Didi Hamman is half scouse, half german with Mancunian influences. Or it's like saying Andrei Shevchenko is a Ukrainian-Italian-Londoner. When a professional athlete goes to another nation/league to ply his trade, it doesn't mean he's from there.
If that was the case then England wouldn't be so **** at football as they've got half our squad there as well as the best of Spain's team and plenty of latin American footballers too. Mascherano is a scouser according to the tools who voted Oz, so I guess he gets to choose if he can play for England or Ireland as well as his nation of birth (Argentina) plus he holds an Italian passport due to his grandpa. he is eligible to play for four nations!Any Oz who thinks he ain't Russian, is as desperate as Manuel Almunia!
