Damn. Timmy triggered a lot of fight fans with these comments. They must have daddy issues.

Kudos Tim. You’re 1M % spot on and thank you for having the voice to tell it like it is. Teo, and Benny are proving that the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I think it’s only a matter of time before Teo, Haney, Benny, and Danny’s father are going to get a rude awakening from some fighter or their handler and get a good whooping. Start the countdown.
Father/Son teams, the way they are in boxing. can problematic. It's probably OK to criticize like Tim did. But changing the rules probably wouldn't fix anything because a father would simply be there anyway. Their father's mouths, from some, could certainly tone down though. But that's something we just have to put up with. Boxing.Comment

There's a ton of ****** takes in boxing. They're not all coming from idiot dads like Lopez Sr, etc. Some are coming from Tim Bradley.Comment

Bradley has CTE and is constantly speaking nonsense at this point and is always wrong lol. “Teofimo is dog food for the top of 140” lopez dominates the top 140lb fighter around. Now he’s saying father son trainer pairings should be banned? Cause they let fights go on too long? That’s the opposite of what happens. Just look at Porter vs crawford lmao. Kenny throws in the towel waaay early in a fight Porter was winning. He’s just butt hurt teofimo want nothing to do with himComment

It's likely the other way around. The people most likely to have daddy issues are the ones who think being trained by your dad can never work out, despite numerous examples to the contrary. Someone with a good relationship with their dad isn't as likely to think it's impossible for a dad to train their kid.

Tim's father trained with him, he wasn't training him but would participate in the road work and work outs. If his relationship wasn't good it doesn't mean that the others are also.
I give him that he is his own man and may not want to father chiming in or trying to take advantage but that is not always the case.Comment

Dude, it's not the substance of the criticism against Tim that I was commenting on, but the intensity. Of course banning father-son duos is absurd. It doesn't mean that Timmy deserves to have his testicles stomped by keyboard warriors, to paraphrase Mike Tyson.Comment

Of course banning father and son duos is ridiculous, but the vitriol of the responses here is disproportionate to the statement. People (here) seem personally offended by his comments.Comment
