There's nothing wrong with a father wanting the best out of his son or daughter for that matter and the father just like any other parent should be compensated for there labor, but no more or less than others. Tim should go apologize for his ******ity to his dad and disrespect as well. Lastly please fire this dirt bag!
Tim's father trained with him, he wasn't training him but would participate in the road work and work outs. If his relationship wasn't good it doesn't mean that the others are also.

I give him that he is his own man and may not want to father chiming in or trying to take advantage but that is not always the case.

Yep, forgot about the Trinidads, that was a very good duo. Trinidad Sr knew his son better than anyone and knew which buttons to push to keep him going and when to make him stop and he had an ATG career because of it. They still have an excellent father-son relationship to this day. So yeah, I understand Tim's opinion but I think he's only focusing on recent bad examples and not on the positives historically

People (mostly Errol fans) didnt like Kenny stopping Shawn from continuing against Bud. But Kenny knows his son best. I seen it, Shawn didnt have his legs under him. Bud was landing clean shovel hooks to the body. You can fight with a broken nose, jaw, or even 1 arm but if your legs arent under you, you will become a highlight reel ko especially against the best finisher in boxing.

Kudos Tim. You’re 1M % spot on and thank you for having the voice to tell it like it is. Teo, and Benny are proving that the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I think it’s only a matter of time before Teo, Haney, Benny, and Danny’s father are going to get a rude awakening from some fighter or their handler and get a good whooping. Start the countdown.

****** takes like this is what makes boxing unenjoyable. It wasn't ESJ fans. Most in attendance looked shocked that the fight was stopped. Hell Shawn didn't talk to his dad for how long? Trying to push a narrative because you can't look objectively because you have to suck off your favorite fighter is lame.

Bradley is prone to fits of hyperbole.

Rewatch the fight and listen to what Kenny Porter told Shawn and to what he said afterward. Kenny admits that he stopped the fight because Shawn didn't prepare the way he wanted him to and wasn't executing in the ring, not because Shawn was out on his feet. Kenny Porter didn't save his son from harm. He saved is own ego (he fancies himself a master trainer) from further damage and punished his son in the process. Kenny is a megalomaniac who thinks his son orbits around him instead of the other way around. Thankfully he has a loyal, dutiful son who forgives him for his arrogrance and disrespect.

Ridiculous statement. There have been lots of very successful father/son teams. A fighter is best served by who he feels most confident with in his corner. Yes, some fathers can be overbearing, but there have been just as many coach/fighter relationships that were not related by blood that have soured.
