Hopkins fought DLH at a catchweight of 156. If that was not fair, I do not know what is. It doesn't change the fact that the MW division has always had MWs being challenged by great former super WWs.

      he's very hypocritical...

he fought nobodies @ 160 as well before and after jones...

he's a transplanted 175lb. middleweight who was always 15X stronger than that weak middleweight division he was fighting in...

you don't believe me go back and look at how he runs over simon brown, bo james, robert allen, etc. in the 90's...

Thats what Trinidad did. You know that Hopkins was underdog at that fight.

          1. All boxers are hypocrites
          2. 15X stronger? lol...he can make 160...he's a middleweight...if it was that hard making 160 he'd be weight drained or forced to move up
          3. Bernard has no control over who is at 160...he beats the men put in front of him...
          4. He fought Robert Allen in 2004 not the 90's...

the difference is hagler didn't scale down from 175 to feast on middleweights like hopkins did...he was a natural middleweight fighting in his natural weightclass...

Bernard's not a natural middleweight but he could make the weight for over 10 years...no problem

Hearns doesn't have any one defining moment, but he did win belts at mw, smw, lhw and cruiserweight. Leonard wanted a rematch with Hagler, but Hagler was sick of his games and stayed retired.
