Thats pretty rich as Wikder was the one who didnt want to fight Gordo. He went around begging Usyk and AJ when the wbc had already ordered him to fight the fat boy!
I remember a few articles on here saying Ruiz was looking forward to the fight.

Whatever the case is, Wilder should win pretty easily

Ruiz supposedly had high financial demands when they offered the Fury fight. Don't know what Ruiz is holding out for because there is no other big paydays out there for him. This fight has been floating around for a while already.

Joshua and Wilder would fight in December hard to see a Ruiz and Wilder fight happening later than end of July that would not mess up the December fight.

interim fight needs to be in July or early September to allow some recovery and then training time for a December fight.

hate that "we offered you" b.s. from boxers these days. Wilder ain't offering any money lol. only one I know who has offered and paid opponent from their own take is Loma.

Wilder is pathetic, this is a guy telling AR not to let others run his career when he's still basically on the plantation with Finkel and Haymon walking him around on a short leash!

Wilder is right. Time is running out. If they can't get this fight signed by the end of the month or early July; Then there will not be enough time to male this fight happen by late August or early September.

Wilder was taking a wait and see approach on whether Hearn and Team Joshua was serious about making an offer to fight him in December. Which was probably the reason why he held out so long to challenge Andy Ruiz.

However, since it looks like that the Joshua fight is almost a done deal and a foregone conclusion; Now he feels comfortable in fighting Ruiz in a tune up fight because the AJ fight is already a guarantee.
