Williams gave him boxing lessons in the first half, but ran out of gas. Mungia is a machine and grinds for the whole fight. He's not flawless, but he's no walk in the park for this Adames fellow.

Adames looked flawed against JRock. Although Adames was up huge in the scorecards, he was actually in trouble, until JRock hit a wall. JRock didn't listen to his corner, by not going to Adames' body. If he did, the fight could have turned out differently. JRock has had success in his career, but he reminds me of Lamont Peterson. Okay at times, but not really good enough. Adames will have problems against Munguia, and better/stronger boxers.

Wasting his time even mentioning the Trash Collector Mungia. He won't go anywhere near any champion or interim champion in any division, unless it's going by the senior citizen home to throw rocks at GGG window. He and his dopehead promoter are going to keep collecting trash until he gets to a fake 50-0, then look for the most profitable champion to get beat up and stretched by.

Munguia was ready to fight GGG years ago when everyone thought it was way to early career wise.

His promotion team know his limits and are gonna max out their investment.. so no Adames fight.

Not that I think Munguia is something special but last time I checked Munguia is fighting at 168. I don't think he doesn't fight at 160 out of fear I think it's more that he can't make 160 anymore. I guess if Adames wants Munguia needs to travel about 8 miles north.

Adames is 29 y/o (peak) and he is a risky fighter. He needs to keep winning, stay active and eventually he'd get that hostaged wbc title and then he would have a big bargaining chip to negotiate a big fight.

I don't see Mung fighting Adames bc Canelo, Charlo and Bena are much bigger fights to be made.

Back in the day 160 was the most prestigious division outside H/W. It was the division that gave us Fitzsimmons, Ketchel, Greb, La Motta, SRR, Monzon, Hagler & B-Hop. It doesn't make sense for Adames to step up. He needs to unify. Truth be told, GGG is on his last legs, so Adames needs either Mell or Mall to be (1) at 160.

Why tf would he mention an interim champion when he can go straight to the real champ? Lol
