Eddie should be ringing Golovkin in this moment lol. If G does retire then he should throw Pacheco in there with Berlanga, but i doubt he will now that canelo said adios for his next 3 fights. Maybe he should give the cokehead a call to pair him with mungia. Unity makes the strength lol.

Berlanga still needs a lot of work, he should fight Munguia next, Ryder after, and then Pacheco.
If he can get past those three, then hew should be put in against Benavidez, or Morrell, then it's time for a title shot.

Old GGG could potentially be too much for Berlanga. If GGG comes in motivated, then Berlanga is losing his 0. I think GGG/Berlanga benefits both parties. The winner faces the winner of Munguia/Ryder (assuming this match-up gets made). If the last man standing is Munguia or Berlanga, then DAZN will have a ready-to-order opponent for Canelo when he's done with PBC.

Berlanga is one punch away from retirement imo
He stunk it up against an old Quigley , who’s corner were celebrating the end of the fight like it was fughin New Years
Can’t blâme them , he got through the twelve rounds
Slow Eddie was dressed like he was celebrating New Years on a beach
Anyone see him with his Magnum P.I. shirt lol

Only way he beats GGG is if he's dropped another level from his last fight . Munguia would have to be around a -280 favorite against Berlanga. I do think Edgar has the physical tools to make it a 50-50 fight just don't think he has the boxing IQ sadly

As I was saying. Morrel wants the heat. Maybe Benevidez wasted it. Drugs, lack of discipline, and time. Benny made Plant look like a Spartan.
