I don't hate the guy, not a fan. Only biased and canelo's lovers has him as ATG. How many hall of famers has he's beating? How many belts has he's taking from a real world champ? None, saunders won the vacant belt against a nobody, same with Smith and plant. The one that he did won from the lineal champ was against an over the hill Cotto, but he lost credibility when instead of fighting ggg, he decided that he was going to wait a couple of years.

See that's the problem it's always he's ducking someone until he beats them then those guys were just "nobodies" it's lame and a clear sign of hate.

He was supposed to never face the boogeyman at 168 the lineal champ who was callum Smith(Benavidez was barely even ranked at that time but ppl act like they don't remember that)even Kellerman went on record saying he won't face a huge 6'3 knock out puncher like Smith....then canelo proceeds to beat him.

But Tbf to berlanga he does have support but in terms of in the ring I just don't see anything special there. He struggles to go through the gears in fights and is lackadaisical

Mosley was a stepping stone and a shadow of himself, same was kovalev, not only did he force the Russian to take the fight in a matter of weeks, after his fight with yarde, but he put some clauses that hinderd kovalev, and he was done at the elite level, Lara make him look like a child and still he got the gift, one judge saw canelo winning 9 rounds, go figure. Cotto was past his prime too, that took the belt ftom another past his prime fighter, and handicap. The real champion at 160 was ggg and canelo vacated the belt because he was afraid. Move forward a couple of years when he thought ggg was ripe for the taken, got gifted again. Does anyone talks about his win against cotto or Mosley? No, we all know what was going on.
