Evander is the kind of guy who would give Haye problems. AKA someone with an iron chin, Haye throws so many bombs early that he tires himself out, just look at the Fragomeni fight.

Evander might not defeat every great or close-to-being-great Heavyweight of any era, but surely he would give EVERYBODY problems! I mean the man goes down once in a decade! He is tough as a rock!

Evander, if you're reading this......man you gave all of us boxing fan some exciting moments back in the day. But, man, your day has past and gone. Hey......you're 46 years old.....way too old to keep fighting. Man.....I'm afraid for your health. Remember.....you did once have a heart condition. Hang em up for good, Evander. Regarding your financial situation. Man, if you're broke, you should have managed your money more carefully. I have seen your mansion in Atlanta. No one needs a house that big and all them acres of land. And about all those babies you made. Hey, Holy, you should have worn some protection. It not only protects you from STD....it also keeps you from making babies you can't afford child support for. So in closing, I once again reiterate...Hang em up Evander

He's absolutely right, Haye expected to get a title shot right away, just because he was the undisputed cruiser champion. Actually, he wasn't really undisputed, he never won the IBF title. But anyway, Holy had to earn his shot at the title and he did.

its funny how he comes back shortly after toney.....anyone think rematch...like jones vs hopkins...maybe he still feels like he has unfinished business with some people cuz thats how he is..but i do think he should hang em up...i loved watching holyfield. His aggression and style plus that big ass heart of his...and i will continue to watch him til the end but i think its time for him to stop..

I agree with Holyfield's comments on Haye, but he should still give up all this comeback stuff. He needs to file for bankruptcy and scale down his child support payment's.

Holyfield might be 46 and sucks now but he still deserves a title shot over that ***** Haye.

I know it is boxing tradition but I still don't think boxers should just move up in weight and fight for a title, unless of course they earn it. If that is the case why have weight classes and why have a top ten in any of them. If that is the way it should work in sports then why not have the Yankees play in the World Series every year and to hell with the rest of the American League. And Holyfield is right he did earn his shot and anyone trying to compare Haye's 23 fight career to Holyfield's Hall of Fame career is just, well completely absurd. And I also have a few questions that need to be answered.

The first question is when did Haye clean out the Cruiser division? He won the title from Mermeck, who was old and has not fought since. He defended it once against glass jaw Macc and he fought Fragomeni. And other then those three fighters did he even fight another top ten opponent in the division? My second question. When Calzaghe stayed home and fought European fighters many claimed he fought soft opposition. But, the fact that Haye has fought nothing but the same does not seem to matter, can I ask why? My last question is about Monte Barrett. I am not going to pretend that I know how high Monte was rated when he fought Wlad. But, he was lumped in with the other bums when the discussion was who has Wlad fought. My question is if Monte was not that good almost a decade ago, why was he so highly regarded now that all Haye had to do was beat him to get rated in the top five of the Heavyweight division? Was it his win over Tye Fields?

In closing many of you may believe that I dislike Haye. But, I really don't, I would just like him to earn his title shot. And he surely did not do it by beating Monte and backing out two fights with the Klit brothers. And why did he back out? Because he thought he would get better deal with Don King. Now how absurd does that sound? And come fight night, and I doubt that it will happen, but I will be rooting for the Beast from the East to crush Haye like a g****.
