NSB says that PBC is what's killing boxing...so why does boxing's biggest current star keep working with them?

And...if it's true, as what NSB says, that PBC is the reason fights don't get made, why would Canelo keep going back to them to keep making these high-grossing fights?

Something doesn't add up. Help me out here

these promoter issues seem to go over my head, it seems to be easier to read eddie arum and oscar, pbc seem to be a bit of a mystery, i did laugh when arum quipped does that guy who heads pbc even exist lol

I think at this point its clear why certain posters don’t like PBC. No matter how much they contribute to making the sport better, those posters will never change their opinions because their negativity isnt about boxing.

Very big year for PBC. If Al can make a quality Tank fight for later this year, Charlo v Tim, Wilder v AJ, plus keep up the good shobox cards, they will have really moved the sport forward.

Unless of course they go out of business as so many haters have claimed. Lol

because they are willing to kill boxing for their stars.

they will stall out negotiation for 5 years. they will let their stars rest 2 years at a time. they will make sure their opponents are drained, then drained again the morning of the fight... they do negotiate the best possible deals for their fighters.

look at Tank vs Garcia. Garcia was literally ass ****d in negotiations. had to drain drain drain as if Tank is the star.

Very very shrewd promotion, you want them on your side BUT they kill the sport. if you support their business tactics then boxing deserves to die.

they are right up Canelo's ally. Canelo uses those exact same tactics but his team aren't as shrewd. Imagine not putting any clauses on the Bivol fight lmao. if it was PBC, Bivol would be 170 and have to do a 2nd day weigh in. drug tested by USADA(crooks). blood and urine.

Getting ass ****d is when you say no when asked to be ass f-cked and someone takes the booty.

Ryan willingly accepted and was compensated highly for consensual an@l.

So what you're saying is, there was some sort of draining when Spence fought Danny Swift?

All the major promoters are cancers and do the same thing. Anyone who says otherwise is mentally compromised.

Al Haymon, Bob Arum, and Oscar De la Hoya all had a hand in destroying HBO due to their own green and lack of respect for the fans. HBO was already dead by the time Hearn got his billion dollars but he was trying to do the same.

HBO was the major league of boxing. All these ****ty promoters destroyed it trying to take it all for themselves. Seeing you guys go to bat for one promoter over another when they all contributed to the death of the best thing we had going in boxing is a joke.

The thing is, your answer is correct. BUT, NSB seems to think it's only PBC. That's what I'm asking.

It's at the point now where less people think that Don King is the cancer. Imagine that

no need. Danny Garcia is a soft touch. he had no chance. same with Mikey Garcia.

those were extremely favorable match-ups that looked good on paper but in reality were duds
