With all you idiots jibber-jabbing about Showtime going out of business all I have to say is au contraire. While you were gleefully fantasizing about Paramount canceling Showtime because of the merger it looks as though the exact opposite happened and Paramount / CBS is doubling down on Showtime boxing. The merger happened in February of this year about 3 weeks after the Tank vs Hector Garcia fight. The brass te runs Paramount told Stephen you better show me what you got if you want us to retain boxing. So Espinoza comes with a fun but underwhelming PPV event with David vs Plant. Then has a mega PPV with Tank v Ryan. Then about 10 decent cards on regular Showtime from May - July which will lead into another mega PPV Spence v Bud on 7/29. Then a few more decent cards on regular Showtime which will lead into a mega mega PPV Canelo v Charlo. Perhaps Wilder v Andy and Tank v Devin in the fall. Showtime is KILLIN DA GAME MANE! I've been telling g you jerks this for 5 years now but nooooooo you did wanna believe ol' Dclefthook. SUCKERS! OH YEAH....PPV IS DEAD!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAAHhhahahahaj

I never thought I would hear any boxing fan make excuses for a boxer who is ducking the biggest money fight against the guy everyone wants to see him fight. I have heard, Canelo can do whatever he wants, deal with it.......Benavidez is not his "next mandatory", and apparently Morrell is, while at the same time, Canelo can "do whatever he wants"...those two statements make zero sense, and the Benavidez fight is huge right now, major money for both guys. But then i am hearing that the only reason people want Canelo to fight Benavidez is "because people want to see Canelo lose". The entire point of championship boxing, and the reason people watch the fights, is to see the best fight the best. Maybe Canelo wins? That is the point of the sport, and the belts.

And people are actually saying that Charlo "sat out" for two years, that everyone wanted that fight two years ago, so now people shouldn't complain. I can't tell if people are joking? Charlo hasn't fought for TWO years, not to mention he hasn't fought in the weight class, lol.

So if I have it right....Canelo can do whatever he wants, he doesn't need to fight guys that might beat him because people just want to see him lose, and no matter if Canelo tries to pull old cruisers down to 180, or fights a guy that has been inactive for two years and has mental issues....everyone needs to just shut up, or else they are just "haters".

No he hasn't. The WBC mandatory requirement was satisfied Feb 27, 2021. Benavidez didn't win the mandatory position until May 21, 2022, and WBA and IBF are in line first. You Benavidez groupies are delusional.

Ryder was WBA mandatory.

Just because WBA gets to have multiple mandatories doesn't mean they go back to back.,

And also; don't act like mandatory rules even APPLY to Canelo. When has an undisputed champion ever given out so many voluntaries? He won the WBO belt two years ago, and this will be his third voluntary since then.

If Canelo is ordered to fight Benavidez then great but until that happens Canelo has no obligation to him especially when Benavidez's best win is Plant.

My obvious point was that Canelo is already a great fighter and potentially a legendary one. Fighting Benavidez would change nothing for Canelo. Y'all act like Benavidez would be Canelo's career defining fight when Canelo was already the biggest star in boxing 5 years ago.

Canelo. Hearn couldn't make the Bivol fight happen. So Canelo inked a deal with PBC, that will bring him to fight Benavidez, next year. This presupposes Canelo demolishis Charlo.
