All these guys have the same recipe. Go public how the negotiations fail to fight a notable contender and then cherry pick a no hoper with that convenient excuse.

Any fighter refusing to fight a mandated fight should be removed from the rankings & given to the next one down.
        Hiw is Ruiz even ranked? Beat 2 40 +opponents in 4 year's.

Everyone has plans to fight but Fury . The forum never ceases to amaze me that it has to include everyone it can’t just be a certain guy not fighting or purposely wasting time where another fighter now has to go another route . Wilder hasn’t fought since October 2022 , Joshua fought 2 months ago and he’s still the guy on here that gets called the once a year fighter ? Bunch of morons on here . Lol

And at least Wilder is in negotiations or talks to plan to fight Joshua in December, meanwhile you got Fury the guy with the actual belt claiming no one will fight him and there’s not even talks going on for a four man tournament which obviously there is .

Ruiz isn’t a top 5 fighter so who cares and Joyce is fighting Zhang , Hrgovic is called over rated so even if he did fight this weekend you guys would cry about it and talk about the Zhang fight and Usyk has his mandatory , cry babies on here . Who’s not fighting but Fury ? Smh

Ruiz is going through a divorce and the rest want Saudi money. Nobody is going to make a move until Saudi starts tossing money around

Mandatory fights and defending belts mean you have a belt to defend. Anthony Joshua is no longer a champion and isn't obligated to defend a status he no longer has, that becomes the burden of the man that beat him. Granted, Joshua is still the money man and everyone wants a piece of that but Joshua is under no obligation to fight.

People in the industry need to start talking about the WBC. All orgs are rotten but they usually eventually serve a purpose and get fights made. This mob have no interest in advancing the sport - they're harming it. Just as they did with that Franchise rubbish.

And yet people here are so willing to blame the fighters for the franchise thing. It's impossible to avoid the narrative that Loma "requested" the franchise belt to duck Haney, even though he says he didn't, just because Sulaiman says so. Far more likely the WBC was trying to get legitimacy for having even more "champions" to suck sanctioning fees from by attaching franchise belts to as many of the P4P guys as they could. Stuck one on Canelo, Estrada, Loma, and tried with Crawford, and were shooting to give one to Wilder also... Loma went into a unification with a more dangerous champion, and people here STILL believe the WBC and try to push a narrative that he was ducking his unknown mandatory by fighting that "soft touch" Teofimo Lopez. Because the WBC and Sulaiman are SO trustworthy and had nothing to gain from getting to elevate Haney to full champ via email and get sanctioning fees from twice as many fights...

If champions are allowed to avoid fights or fight 2nd tier opponents whenever....they are not champions.....they are merely belt holder/buyers and the WBC is a co-conspirator for 3% of the pot.

                    It's racketeering

Its crazy to believe there's only 1 fighter (Makhmudov) among the TOP-25 scheduled to fight. These guys need to FIGHT!!!
