Weird Butsai is fighting a WBA final eliminator when he had a title shot lined up and turned it down

He was only offered the shot as part of a multi fight extension with Matchroom tbf. Had it been a one fight deal, I reckon he’d have taken it.

You just can't beat a good old fashioned British, Commonwealth & European title fight, but I gotta wonder what the financial split's going to be in this one. Normally Azzez would get the lion's share, but with it being a WBA final eliminator & Buatsi being ranked @ #1 should it not be a 50% purse split?!.....

He didn't want it, kinda lame move but in hindsight probably the right move, this is a good fight to get him ready for a title shot.
