But but but when guys call out the top guys, the top guy is always ducking isn't that the narrative of the casual fans of boxing, depending on who they like of course.

Benevidez started it. He claimed that he couldn't get a fight and said a discouraging word, called out Morrel by name. That has no expiration date. Morrel is now willing and Benevidez asked for it. He takes it, or welches. I want to see both up their game.

No. Everyone knows your not ducking some random guy who calls you out if you don't fight him. You need to have some grounds. Morrell does not.

Benavidez is a helluva fighter, but I don't think he can beat Morrell.

It's possible this is the biggest payday he can get. Canelo can't fight him and keep his "I don't fight Mexicans" line of defense against Benavidez going. Charlo is going to wait until he's either irrelevant or gets the Canelo fight and then probably retire. Nobody wants to see Andrade again, and he's not a big payday anyways. Benavidez is far and away the biggest star in the 168 division not named Canelo, and if Munguía wants to run from Janibek at 160, he's going to get cashed out by any top name in 168.

Morell jr fought Allen in his third fight for a belt, Allen was ranked, I think he was three or fourth, don't remember exactly, but he was ranked by the WBA, Aidos was ranked too, both were undefeated when he fought them.

My grandma can get ranked in a sanctioning body. I meant divisional rings top 10 which is the standard. Morrell is literally not a relevant fighter yet everyone is pushing him. Benavidez has bigger fish to fry which move his career forward.
