I like Russell but this isn't an appealing fight for several reasons.

1. Russell isn't a lightweight he's a featherweight.
2. Russell's inactivity plus coming off a loss & injury
3. Russell's age; he's definitely on a physical decline

I don't know, everyone is acting like Mr. Gary Russell is easy work. Don't make him make Shakur the example of his talent.

You must be on crack. Gary isn't fighting Shakur. He barely ever fights and when he steps up he gets beat, plus he's past his prime now. Russell is always calling people out but rarely makes the fights happen. Shakur has absolutely nothing to gain from fighting Gary. It's a total waste of time. Gary fought once in 2020 and once last year. He's not active enough to be taken seriously.

Lol , Mr Gary Russell will gladly take on that challenge if Shakur is willing. As far as getting beat, you should know better, he has 2 losses his entire career, and it really should be only 1. He's one of the most talented fighters in the game.
