I'm glad you worded it like you did, "judges scoring their clash gave Bivol the slightest edge," rather than saying that Bivol won by the slightest edge. Unless Canelo gets his clock cleaned like he did, the Vegas judges will always give him a fight. This has been seen in the past.

Yildirim, Ryder.... fans were clamoring for those fights I guess. It's a funny game Canelo **** riders play trying to gatekeep. Canelo vs inactive Charlo is still probably bigger than Canelo-Bivol II and definitely bigger than Canelo-Berlanga.Comment

GGG was just beginning the descent from his prime in 2016, Canelo fought him for the first time in Sept 2017 - the version that fluidly destroyed Proksa and Lemieux would've knocked Canelo out for sure. Don't forget Canelo has technically been knocked down before... when Cotto's brother hit Canelo with a huge left hook he fell backwards onto the ropes. Had the ropes not been there it would've been a knockdown. Furthermore, most referee's would've called it a knockdown, the ref in question was obviously paid off by Goldenboy.
Yes Canelo beat a prime Jacob's but don't forget Canelo had the cheek to enforce a rehydration clause in that middleweight unification fight?? Also the actual fight was a lot closer than the UD indicates. Had Jacobs won one more round on 2 of the judges scorecards the official result would've been a majority draw...
Billy Joe Saunders was talented but didn't live the life a fighter should live between camps. His weight routinely ballooned over 200lbs plus he had put in some subpar performances against the likes of Artur Akavov and Martin Murray. Canelo knew what he as doing when he selected BJS as an opponent.Last edited by Elastic Recoilz; 06-20-2023, 09:26 AM.Comment

nope fans weren’t clamoring for those fights either. All big names fighters has obviously fought guys that fans weren’t interested in. Just saying Canelo already had a tuneup fight with Ryder and I would expect a better choice of opponent than an inactive MW who hasn’t fought in 2 years , held up the division and never fought at 168.

The only bigger fight out there for Canelo right now is Benavidez.nope fans weren’t clamoring for those fights either. Name a fighter with better resume than Canelo ? You can't.Hearn should stay shut because he’s promoted more Canelo trash fights than anyone. But let’s not pretend as if Canelo doesn’t always look for boxers after they show vulnerability. He always finds guys coming off poor performances, guys who are inactive, guys who have short notice or short turnaround from their previous fights. He’ll take any advantage he can get which also includes catch weights and rehydration clauses. That’s how I know he definitely took clen on purpose. He’s an opportunist looking for any edge he can get and that’s why Charlo is the front runner and Benavidez is being ignored.
Name a fighter with better opposition than Canelo ? You can't.
Silence, SHUT up
I don't like this fight but what You said is trash.
Crawford has the same age than Ggg when canelo faced him, and You are not saying anything.
You are a joke.
