.
The thread clearly says Floyd vs Hearns and you cats want to flip it and make it about Manny some kind of way. You free to make a Manny vs. Hearns thread we will give our opinion.

Your insinuating that it's only because Hearns is so much bigger, lol, when the truth is he is just a better fighter with a style that Floyd showed a disdain for
What style?
No one in Floyd’s era from 130-147 fought like Hearns did. Name the tall boxers with an unusually long reach?
The only one was PWill. He fought nothing like Hearns. The closest one to Hearns style was probably Corrales, who Floyd beat by KO.
Man, Floyd humiliating and defeating Manny really had made you an angry, bitter loser.

You just want to push that Hearns was bigger, but the reality is he is just better by proving he could beat a fighter like Floyd, but the same don't hold for Floyd.
Hearns at ww same day weigh in would be a longer rangier guy than Floyd that can box, and Floyd never proved he could beat a guy like that at welterweight. In fact, his braintrust steered him clear from fighters who fit that description.
You give Floyd a short, short armed, flat footed, come forward fighter like Robert Guerrero or Victor Ortiz and he da man, but for fighters like Paul Williams who had significant height and reach, Floyd was either retired or on vacation. That was by design not coincidence. When Williams and Margarito got tired of waiting for Floyd and disappeared, Floyd was ready to come back against who Marquez, a short, short armed, flat footed lightweight.
Again there were fighters that Floyd could have boxed that had he beat would put him up there with the Sugar Rays and Durans, but his fear of longer rangier guys that can throw a good one-two, and who was gonna hit him back when they got hit, limited him.
There was nobody Floyd could’ve fought that replicated Hearns. He was an anomaly.
