  • As sad as May's career was in some ''fight fans'' eyes, he's still being matched with ATGs

Srl can outbox Floyd because he proved he is just better, and proved it against fighters as good if not better than Floyd.

If Duran a lw just accepted he would lose to Srl a natural ww because of size he would have lost the first fight to Srl and never given mw Hagler a hard way to go

Hearns, Srl, Duran those guys climbed as high as they did not because of size, but because of their mindset which knew no limitation, but we know you weak minded, ydksab dudes are lost on that.

But go ahead keep making excuses for Floyd being too small that why he was too scared and backed out of fighting guys like Winky Wright at jmw a bonafide all time great jmw, and talked smack about mw GGG a lock for HOF, but quickly used the too small excuse when GGG said he would come down to 154.

Floyd he had challenges that would have put him up there with Srl and Duran but was too scared to take any real risk.
Again it’s not an excuse it’s a reality, a biological fact.

Hearns was a better Welterweight than Floyd because of his physical attributes.

Duran was a greater fighter than Hearns, you won’t find many that rank Hearns above Duran all time but happened when they fought? Hearns iced him because he was bigger, stronger, hit harder etc. Same applies to Hearns vs Mayweather.

He’s the only man to knock Pacquiao out at 147 so he couldn’t of been that bad.

Manny and then what. Who else he beat. He had Manny's number way before they were ww's.

            • Is there a fighter, who supposedly cherry picked his way to p4p/ppv/face of boxing thrones, is matched vs HOFers/ATGs as often as May ????

Surely, there is at least 1, more humble guy, who can be matched vs those guys May is

It could be whatever you think it is, I am saying Hearns would be a better fighter than Floyd even if he was a lightweight because of the style, and Hearns wasn't above sticking his chin in there to get some shots in.

You just want to push that Hearns was bigger, but the reality is he is just better by proving he could beat a fighter like Floyd, but the same don't hold for Floyd.

Hearns at ww same day weigh in would be a longer rangier guy than Floyd that can box, and Floyd never proved he could beat a guy like that at welterweight. In fact, his braintrust steered him clear from fighters who fit that description.

You give Floyd a short, short armed, flat footed, come forward fighter like Robert Guerrero or Victor Ortiz and he da man, but for fighters like Paul Williams who had significant height and reach, Floyd was either retired or on vacation. That was by design not coincidence. When Williams and Margarito got tired of waiting for Floyd and disappeared, Floyd was ready to come back against who Marquez, a short, short armed, flat footed lightweight.

Again there were fighters that Floyd could have boxed that had he beat would put him up there with the Sugar Rays and Durans, but his fear of longer rangier guys that can throw a good one-two, and who was gonna hit him back when they got hit, limited him.

                • Stylistic nightmare for Floyd, but he wouldn't get KO'd. Wilfred Benentiz was able to make it the distance, and Floyd's defense is better than his.

                    Too big? Such size advantage?

With a same day weigh in they would be the same weight. Hearns would just have a height/reach advantage. You ever saw Hearns at welterweight go look at his welterweight fights he was a ****ing string bean. Surely Floyd can still take a risk.

So its ok when Floyd has all the advantages fighting short short armed lightweights like Marquez but not the other way around?

You cats coddle Floyd too much

What scares you is putting your crush Mayweather in there with a fighter with a height/reach advantage that can box and knows how to control the real estate.

It can't even be a fighter in his own division and God forbid if it's a natural junior middleweight, you wouldn't be able to create excuses fast enough.
