It's probably more than likely the latter rather than the former. The racist POS is only exaggerating again as usual because of his intense envy and jealousy of Devin Haney in particular and black fighters in general.
I think this is probably all about sending a message to his wife's lawyer and the divorce court judge. He wants to minimize the payout to his wife and any alimony payments - better for him if the judge makes a fixed amount a month and not a % of earnings going forward. If the judge looks at his demand for a $100 million contract he might conclude this guy is never getting another contract.

Thats a very valid and great point. I did not look at it from that Perspective! I’m just a lowly Civil Engineer, been married 20 years, so I don’t have that much experience from that vantage point.
