He could also petition for his shot at a title in which he's the #1 contender. Has he done that? Or has he just been on twitter claiming everyone is ducking him AFTER they have fights scheduled. I posted up here maybe a month an a half ago that as soon as Crawford and Spence's fight is announced, Boots would come out of hiding talking about he's being ducked. Tell me what happened after the fight was announced........

He did actually him an his dad both said they petitioned it but the IBF instead gave him the interim title shot instead. I'm not saying boots beats any of these champions but he his a high risk fight for them with low reward

Even if you aren't aware of the business side of boxing and things behind the scenes, common sense should tell you that Boots isn't ducking any smoke whatsoever from anybody. He's one guy who has consistently stated that he wants all the top welterweights including Spence and Crawford. And he has said this publicly for several years now

Just because he was next up for the WBO, doesn't mean anything in boxing, since no one hardly ever fights their mandatories. There's no guarantee Bud would have fought him. All Bud wants and has been chasing is Errol. I'm sure Boots had reasons behind the scenes, and I'm sure it had zero to do with being afraid to fight Bud. I don't believe Boots is scared of Bud one bit. Who'll win, I can't say. I do feel as though Boots is very worthy of an opportunity to prove who's better, and fans deserve to see such a fight

Who has Boots beaten to earn a title shot? He deserves a title shot at Crawford or Spence no more than Sergey Lipinets deserves a title shot at 140 against Subriel Matias. His best win in 30 fights is 35 year old Custio Clayton. That's sad. A knife that cuts butter effortlessly isn't necessarily a sharp knife.

Don't know why he keeps mentioning Crawford. BLK offered the fight and he turned it down. He also dropped his WBO mandatory spot as seen in the WBO rankings. Why would anybody do that when everyone wait for years to get to that spot? Yep, he intentionally dropped his spot because he's anticipating WBO might order the fight between him and Crawford. Is this someone who wants that smoke?

Who did Avni Yildirim and Rocky Fielding fight to deserve Canelo? But they still got a shot, because they were safe opponents.
