I could see that happening. Crawford’s tendency is to let rounds get away in the early going. It’s been a while since I last saw it but I think that was the case for the Kavaliuskas fight. Same with The Gamboa fight and the Porter fight where I had his opponent sweeping the first three rounds. Not sure about Kav, but the Gamboa and Porter fights I watched recently. It’s just that Crawford just doesn’t ever look like he’s waning and I can’t recall Crawford ever letting anyone off the hook once he’s had them hurt.

We’ll see how most people feel come fight night, but I feel confident that Crawford should have less vulnerabilities than Spence, age be damned.

There won't be a trilogy. Crawford will retire Spence after the 1st fight.

        Terence has his own vulnerabilities.

Errol has the cleaner technique and better chin.

I don't think Terence has an iron chin.

The only trilogy I see is Errol getting dropped 3xs before the fights waved off.

Not seeing it, unless there's a bilateral rematch clause. It's either going to end in stoppage one way or the other, or if it somehow makes it to decision, very controversial decision followed by Spence running up to 154 and never making the fight again. They had enough trouble making the fight to begin with.

The only trilogies we get these days are the ones we don't need like Chisora vs Fury, Fury vs Wilder (2nd fight should ended the rivalry), GGG vs Canelo (Canelo avoid the 3rd fight for nearly half a decade and by that point it didn't matter), Estrada vs Gonzalez (Gonzalez clearly won the first two) and so on and so forth.

Fights that actually needed trilogies like Santa Cruz vs Frampton never take place. So I highly doubt this scenario plays out like you mentioned.

Plus I think Crawford stops Errol and would stop him again in a rematch.

They have a rematch clause either can activate. So they won't have trouble making a rematch if the loser chooses since the major terms will all ready have been agreed. So Trilogy might have a small chance.

The loser i can see wanting to trigger the rematch clause why wouldn't they, if it's 1-1 after that we could see a 3rd. Obviously all depends on the prior fights and how they are in terms of dominance or a ko or close fight etc

Honestly I don't think we need a trilogy from them
