It’s a desperate move by Matchroom and DAZN if they stage this in the UAE. The fight makes far more money and is a far bigger event in the UK.

The fact Benn is essentially a banned fighter really damages the legitimacy of the contest too. It was always gonna be a circus type fight but with his failed PED tests still hanging over Benn, it really damage the media perception of this fight and rightfully so tbf.

Don’t be surprised if Eubank Jr ends up rematching Liam Smith instead. Their teams are still in talks from what I understand.

If this actually happens it will be yet another horrible blow to boxing and any semblance of integrity it may have left. This fight should not happen, anywhere. Shame on Eddie Hearn, Frank Smith and the rest of the scumbags at Matchroom for even suggesting this fight happen next. They clearly have no conscience, no morals and no respect for the sport whatsoever. There's no way for slick Eddie to talk his way out of this or justify it somehow. You are right but how many people today a real boxing fans. People will tune in that's why this crap keeps on happening. Hearn should be banned from promoting any BBBoC fighters. Boxing has lost all integrity and most people on here whi tune in are not real fans but casuals who think they know what they are talking about, it's as simple as that.
