Clottey oughta be high up in the IBF rankings since he gave up their belt. He should whoop that Isaac guy and get his strap back.

I'd like to see Clottey in tough. He's had enough soft touches the past few years imo. Aside from Cotto of course.

I cant believe that Shane Mosley wasnt his opponent
considering Mosley had Dec 5th as his original date?
Would have been a good Boxing event if Williams/Pavlik/
Mosley/Clottey were all on the same bill. See thats what
Im saying about Mosley and most likely Golden Boy in
General, their just not marketing Mosley correctly. I bet
you that the Berto fight doesnt come off either and Shane
may not get Floyd and is going to sit out another whole
              year.

I don't think Mosley will go another whole year without fighting, but it wouldn't suprise me to see the Berto fight fall through. Dibella has been talking about taking Berto to Showtime to fight the Bradley-Peterson winner. Good old Lou protecting that china chin of his.

yeah I agree. after Clottey lost to Margarito it seems like he fought nothing but over matched opponents (for the most part)

before beating Judah to get the vacant title

then of course the Cotto fight.

**I mean why is Holt a leading name .. he has a relatively solid resume
just at 140, oppose to 147.

I had Clottey vs Cotto down as a Clottey win. I mean, I don't know what more two guys have to do in the ring in order to get a re-match.

My su****ion is that because of his awkwardness and lack of profile he'll end up getting marginalised whilst the boxing media darlings (such as Cotto) cherry pick the best fights.

                    Pity.

I'd say Holt is the best option because he's a more well-known fighter.
