Calling it now - Spence comes in overweight to get advantage - he's all about winning and the money - not the legacy.

I really thought that the accident diminish him badly but I guess I was proven wrong. I'm thinking the blowing up in weight between fights is more likely to damage his in-ring performance - so far it hasn't seemed to - but each time you do it and with each passing year - it takes a percentage away from you. He is 33 now - that is past prime for most athletes - especially those who don't live the life. If you live a Spartan lifestyle you can stretch it out - Hopkins (and his genes) , Usyk and Derevyanchenko

They are both in prime, only closer to the tail than the beginning, both undefeated, both looking impressive in the last bouts, prime is a plateau and they are still on it..

Unless you've weighed him you have no idea what his weight is. Claiming he was "200" three weeks ago is just ******.

I like both fighters. They're both excellent for our Era. I'm pulling for Bud,but my boxing sense says Spence. He's rugged and a lot bigger than Crawford. Crawford tends to get touched up and swollen around the face. We know what Spence does to the face of his opponent's. Brooks jab was touching Crawfords eye and had it swollen by the fourth round. Even Aveneysan had some success and touched up Bud's face a little. Spence is a different animal and better than both of those combined. He also has a rock solid chin. We've seen Bud's knees buckled a couple of times. I know the heart of Crawford and maybe even the skill of Crawford is on par with Spence. But at the end of the day Bud can't match his size. And the relentless assault that's coming will eventually wear Bud down by the championship rounds. Spence by UD. He will literally have to kill Bud to knock him out.

A couple of years ago I really believe it was spence who was avoiding and didn’t want that fight because all signs were just there, I still believe that to be true though it doesn’t matter now that the fight’s finally happening. On recent years, Spence really appeared very impressive to me, his last 4 victories was better than Crawford’s last 4 in my opinion. He outgunned a game porter and completely dominated Ugas, Crawford also defeated porter, but it wasn’t as impressive for me, eventhough it was a KO, i dont know why… because Porter was winning up until the KO? Hmmm. Maybe.. though both of them didn’t really appear to be head and shoulders above Porter, maybe that’s on Porter being good.

i agree with most of your assessment, Crawford is getting touched up by lesser fighters, while Spence appeared to be really big and strong most of the time during his fights.. He is an animal physically.. maybe his chin can be hunted by Crawford’s sharp shooting, but his workrate, length, power and size would really be a problem for crawford. For me you need movement to offset a lot of spence’ advantages and crawford ain’t that a mover for me. he is not someone who’s gonna outbox you.. he is gonna fight fire with fire.

i haven’t decided yet who to root for, but for now I’m leaning towards Spence folding Crawford while at the same time knowing Crawford can hurt spence at any moment as well and finish him when the opportunity presents.

i believe as well that crawford’s age is now a factor.
