Lopez stops Ramirez. TR might shaft Barboza and gets Ramirez the shot.

He doesn't deserve the shot but could see that happening.

Cracking fight. Especially if it winds up in Fresno.

Agree 100%. Teo would really get those fans riled up before the fight if it were there.

Teo doesn’t fill up MSG ( big arena) yet like A Cotto or a Trinidad. He could make serious money as the villain road warrior until he can sell out the main arena.

I was saying a while back, Top Rank had been in his ear telling him to pass on the Prograis fight by promising him this.

Now they've got the belts on Teo, and they've got in-house opponents for him - Teo, maybe a Loma and/or Kambosis rematches at 140 if either guy gets desperate, Barboza, etc.

                Teofimo was AWESOME on Saturday.

However, I think Jose Ramirez proves a more formidable opponent.

Ramirez' pressure, size and body attack will not be easily handled by Teofimo.

Why not ? Prograis and Subriel are current champs so they aren’t in the running for a title shot.

ramirez lost a good fight to Taylor, and has bounced back w a couple wins against former champs. If no unifications are going to happen then Ramirez is just as good an option as anybody else. Probably one of the best (realistic) options, honestly.
