It's time to put respeck on Derevyanchenko's name. Only Big Charlo was able to deal with him without struggling.

It's not about ease of making fights. Some of you are missing the point - because it's clear where your bias leans.

This thread is give credit to Derevyanchenko, because he's given everyone a great fight and made all but one struggle against him. Which is valuable intel as to the true level of those fighters.

    Give Derevyanchenko his chops.

Devery was moving left and right, he had good defense avoiding a lot of Munguia's punches. When he actually boxed he made Munguia look silly, when he rested Munguia's jab would win him the round. Munguia looked like he was fighting at a higher weight class.

Derevy gets all the credit from me, dude is a skilled warrior.

This poster is praising a guy who hasn't fought in 2 years. Same guy who Jacobs confronted and called his bluff. Haymon sent bigger ball Derevyanchenko to fight Jacobs, instead. Derev vs Big Charlo should have been the inhouse fight to make at PBC back then. But Big Charlo wasn't ready for prime time. He has to wait for Derevy to lose a step.

See how it all worked for Big Charlo's favor?

Same poster who can't praise Crawford for beating Porter. (Oh, I'm sure he'll quickly make a great comeback for this.)

It's a crazy sport with crazy fans.

I credited Crawford with the asterisk win. But as you know, Crawford didn't beat Porter, Kenny did.

Anyway. Give Derevyanchenko his credit or move on.
