I'm fairly sure it was scripted. That doesn't mean something can't go wrong and someone still gets hurt. Or, that someone in the suit is angling for a payout.

I mean the mascot had big gloves on it appeared so was definitely some kind of skit but damn.
Seems kind of dangerous even in that costume to be hit like that from a pro fighter.

I think the one to the top of the head that sent mascot down was planned. It was probably above the person inside but the one to the middle of the face, with the mascot lying prone, was ill-advised and may have done damage.
