Given another minute Lopez would have knocked Taylor TFO.

Great performance from Teo, and he totally exposed Taylor’s deficiencies. Taylor was defenseless against the left feign, then Right hook either to the body or upstairs. Took Teo a couple rounds to figure that out and then he just took him apart by freezing Taylor with fakes and footwork.
As usual, announcers missed some key body shots that I think turned the fight. Teo really dug in on some body shots that appeared to hurt Taylor. He didn’t hammer the body, but landed a few perfectly placed big shots that you could physically see took the starch out of Taylor. By the middle rounds, Taylor had nothing on his punches and Teo was just walking through them.
Great win and he’s for real. Teo is a top guy at 140.
Taylor got exposed as a limited weight bully. He was a middleweight in there on fight night and still got taken to school.

Great performance from Lopez. I thought Taylor would beat him up on the inside down the stretch but Teo was brilliant. Taylor looked a little flat. 116-112 Lopez. My Bookie is smiling today

Teofimo can be an annoying git, but, fair play, that man can fight. I loved his comment. Too often a fighter turns in a below-par performance & the first reaction is 'sack the coach'. Teofimo & Leigh Woods have both shown that it makes sense to keep faith with what got you there.

Taylor has a questionable win (against Catterall), he got outworked by Ramirez (if Ramirez didn't go down twice, he would have won), and really didn't separate himself from Prograis (who is also overrated).
That's why I couldn't believe the majority here were saying that Taylor had more skill lol I swear most of these guys here don't know boxing.

Was on a cruise and didn't catch the fight until today! WOW! Teo not only won, but clowned Josh! If anyone recognized the "52" then salute to them, and salute to Teo! Now, with that being said, he didn't do enough to be asking for 8 figure purses, and 9 figure contracts! I understand his frustration, but he should be demanding Arum to get him a PPV with Devin Haney or Ryan Garcia @ 140! Yeah, I know Ryan looked like azz, but he & his promoter "claim" weight-draining caused his loss to Tank, so they can play on that, and make BIG $$$!Last edited by Bronx2245; 06-12-2023, 03:26 PM.
