Carl Froch 'I'll Whoop Andre Dirrell' VIDEO

Calzaghe ditched that belt to fight Hopkins and move to light heavy because he couldn't really make 168lbs any longer without punishing his body. He was wise to do so. Had Calzaghe beaten Froch before he was a world champ, he would get little credit for it. So what was the point of fighting Froch? For a start, i also think Calzaghe would have given Froch a boxing lesson but my point is that Kris was trying to discredit Froch like he was cherry picking a vacant belt even though at the time he was the WBC #1 contender.
You might not like Froch and that's fair enough but he earned that title the hard way and the right way.
He's a worthy champion, end of!Comment

You're at the end of the spectrum where 'spit or swallow?' becomes a relevant question. I understand, Kris.
Wait, wait, before you waste all that energy. Read the bold back to yourself, then re-read the part where I say I don't actually think that's what he's saying. Because I really don't, Kris. I think you may have sincerely intrerpreted it that way, but I don't think he's trying to say he's a Mayweather or a RJJ.That's cool with me. I'm sorry though, you cannot say that most fighters whom have not long won a vacant belt then one defence mention and seriously, getting to the level of Roy Jones and Floyd Mayweather.
How can he suddenly do that when;
-He's 32
-Not that far fr...
Dude, ok?? Just doesn't?? See it my way??It just doesn't sit right dude, ok. It just doesn't, and others have said as much and not in a pointless slagging way, so just accept that not all people see it your way. Sure he can dream, but if he meant it like you thought he coulda made that clear. He didn't, and doesn't a lot of the time. It's not a leap to suggest Froch really does think he's way way bigger than he is with a pick of just some of his quotes which are not I'm afraid so common of someone in his position.
Your indignation is HILARIOUS.
I'm pretty damn sure that's exactly how Carl meant it, btw. He's enjoying where he is and thinking big, "maybe a P4P spot, wooooooow, Roy Jones was on that list, what if I could get on it?".
And being a prizefighter and a world champion -- men who are supposed to exude confidence -- he allows himself to state those thoughts in a confident manner.
It's not about seeing it my way. It's simply about having the insight to perceive a little way below the surface. We call it cutting through the crap.
Empathy and insight, Kris. Develop some.Comment

LOL I just registered how you worked JC into this, Kris.
Who said we were even talking about Calzaghe, btw? Where did Joe enter our dialogue?
Kris, I'm more of a Calzaghe supporter than you will ever be.
The issue isn't 'Joe Calzaghe - love him or loathe him?', it's 'Joe Calzaghe - to be a fan or to gargle his jizz?'.
Holy crap.Comment

That's good that's good, as much classy as it was funny. I could sling some **** back but it kinda missed anyway, so I'll respectfull stick to the topic at hand instead of resorting to personal onslaughts to make my point.
So because YOU don't actually think that's what he's saying, that's how it is? Even though it's not how I and others may see it?Wait, wait, before you waste all that energy. Read the bold back to yourself, then re-read the part where I say I don't actually think that's what he's saying. Because I really don't, Kris. I think you may have sincerely intrerpreted it that way, but I don't think he's trying to say he's a Mayweather or a RJJ.
That seems to be what your persisting with, interesting.
I did percieve it that way after watching it a number of times. It's called personal judgement of a person, to me someone like Haye is a good example of self promoting and saying stuff, having high goals, but even he puts them in a completely better more logical way than Froch does. Plus he has a grin of not thinking he has a crown and 5000 people around him screaming his name, around him. So, I feel more empathy for that guy over a dry, serious, arrogant, self loving big head. Quite within a humans rights to take that judgement and explain that constructively. Obviously you disagree whilst ironically insisting your fine to state your take on Froch's words were different as if that then carries more weight, because it's you.
Well no, I don't. Perhaps that's what frustrates you. I've not personally attacked your man merely said I don't think he comes across as meaning things in the same way as you, ok. Come on, see it my way. Oh that's right, it's only your way.Dude, ok?? Just doesn't?? See it my way??
Oh your sure now? Well we might as well all go home then and forget having an opinion that might disagree, psychologist and general human judger Man in Black says this is how he means it so take it or think close to it ok. Jeez.I'm pretty damn sure that's exactly how Carl meant it, btw.
Right, this is the most logical fair point you've made on the matter. I can see what your saying here, and perhaps there is more of that in there than I've first thought. But I'm sorry, he does not make that clear and never does, so people are quite within they're rights not to think so favourably, and I'm one of those people. Shoot me, I know you want to.He's enjoying where he is and thinking big, "maybe a P4P spot, wooooooow, Roy Jones was on that list, what if I could get on it?".
And being a prizefighter and a world champion -- men who are supposed to exude confidence -- he allows himself to state those thoughts in a confident manner.
Clearly it is about seeing it your way Man in Black, because you seem allergic to budging especially where I'm concerned and it's completely un-necessary whilst at times hypocritical. You've made a couple of valid points on how Froch mighta more meant it and I can at least accept that, but you go no way to demonstrate this empathy, insight you preach of.It's not about seeing it my way. It's simply about having the insight to perceive a little way below the surface. We call it cutting through the crap.
