  • Comments Thread For: Frank Sanchez Embraces Possible Mandatory Fight With Tyson Fury

Several fighters have not accepted the opportunity to fight WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Last year, the WBC ordered a final world title eliminator between former champion Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz. The two boxers were never close to a deal and they appear to be heading in other directions.

I like Sanchez, he deserves his shot.

That Saudi money though has changed the game. If that offer comes through to Fury i expect him to box Franklin in the meantime

      I'd watch this fight.

It's going to take a mandatory to get anyone half decent into a ring with Fury.

With Usyk, AJ & Ruiz apparenntly out of the equation Sanchez, Bakoli & Makhmudov would appear to be the best options, so I've got no problem with Frank filling the void!..

Fury can't box in the U.S.

I like this fight! Fury is quite the enigma at the moment with his one belt kingdom. It’s odd how he’s holding the green strap hostage and not facing Uysk but steadily claiming it’s an easy fight. My head says it’s the get paid as much as you can route but my heart believes Fury may doubt himself. I’m still 80/20 money but why not be undisputed it’s a funny case.
I think with Frank size he could upset the apple cart. Fury’s new style of mauling might not work on all comers.
Like Canelo, Fury’s put himself in a interesting place as far as next opponent. Let’s see what happens

It's a realistic possibility. Everyone else has priced themselves out or has other plans. The only person I believe wouldn't is Wallin but he's a risky fight and nowhere near a top ranking to be Fury's mandatory.

I see Frank getting outboxed and If a KO does come it'll be in the late rounds after Frank's steroid body gives out from fatigue.

No lies spoken! Franklin the new toy of heavyweight division. I would love to see Miller, Sanchez, Zhang, even Bakole in the mix. Boxing the new waiting game.

Fury wants the lion’s share plus the crumbs. It seems a bit unfair this is prize fighting.

What’s up with Wallin? I feel like he’s still living off the Rollyesque loss to Fury. I haven’t really seen him fight anybody of note. I could be wrong I have to check his Boxrec. I truly believe take away the timeline and the Fury name, Wallin won that fight via doctors stoppage. Similar to the UK guy, can’t remember his name, who clearly beat Fury but lost on cards.
