I don't agree with what Arum and the WBC are saying/doing, but I would point out that expressing a hope that the war comes to an end is not the same as speaking against it. I imagine ***** also wants the war to come to an end.

The comments that I have read from Bivol on the subject seem carefully worded to not say too much one way or the other. He is an athlete; he doesn't understand it; he hopes for an end. Reading between the lines, I'd say he would still happily represent Russia given the chance, war or no war.
