I don't see Lopez having any real success at the top level ever again. A lot of young people burn out in their early 20s and they keep trying to go back to what they were couple of years earlier instead of trying to go with what their body is telling them and evolving, we've seen this with a ton of fighters and promising young people, it's like people who peak in college and become average afterwards.
I hope he proves me wrong, it would be good for the sport, but i just don't see it.
I think Lopez has no clear advantage over any of them except Jose Ramirez. I think if he fought most of them 10 times it would be a close split. I even think this about Catterals chances. About 50-50 . Matais and Prograis, probably have a clear advantage over him. I kind of think Taylor too, but I dunno bout that.
Didn’t he also say Teo would get demolished by Loma?? This has FOTY potential written all over. Their styles match up so well. I wouldn’t write Teo off.
Bradley was a good boxer but a terrible commentator. I think he tries to be like Teddy Atlas to much, bombastic, condescending, and a know it all. I don't like him anymore.
I think if Teo had a real trainer and had his meds right that he would EASILY dispatch all top 140 pounders. As it stands he is just half the fighter he SHOULD be. That said, I still think he is a threat to the top the three 140 pounders.
