Usyk only fights for Ukrainian pride not greed. That’s why he signed with the Saudis. Who are aiding the Russians war on ukraine. Where are the Usyk altruism crowd? I still don’t understand why anyone would think fury would suck usyk. Like cmon man lmao. Usyk isn’t some ultra dangerous fighter to be feared. He’s had razor close fights with Bredis and chisora and had troubles with AJ in 2nd fight. Yet his supporters scream fury is ducking him all while usyk is a Ukrainian hero. None of it makes sense lmao

Usyk is technically better boxer than Fury and that is why he might actually beat Fury. Sure, Fury can dance around and throw long range punches or lean on a weaker framed fighter. He proved that works against a fighter like Wilder, but it won't necessarily work against Usyk, and he knows it.Comment

Fury haters acting like Usyk has KO'd everyone at HW, has people throwing money at his PPV's regardless of who he fights, as if he is now this HW legend. It is ridiculous.
I have liked Usyk for years. He beat a mentally damaged Joshua for belts that AJ got back by out boxing frickin Ruiz. This isn't the same AJ that was hungry and got up off the canvas to stop Wlad. Usyk gets credit for the win, but he didn't look great againsy Chisora. He is undersized for this HW era and does not have alot of power at HW. The "crazy cossack" stuff is funny, but let Fury land a big one, it's over.
I mean are you all going to spend 80 bucks to see Usyk fight Dubois? Or really, anyone apart from Fury, or maybe Wilder? Usyk will outbox may guys, but he isn't a huge draw at the weight.Comment

It's Fury hate, not belief in Usyk. They are all trying to figure out some way, any way, that Usyk beats Fury. I've watched them both fight many times. Fury outboxes Usyk, and Fury likely stops Usyk. Usyk is amazing in that he is even fighting at HW, but as you said, he has looked less than stellar against far worse fighters. And Fury has become a real boxer puncher. He is a nightmare for the rest of the division.
I can see Usyk holding his own for a few rounds, but when Fury sits down on a punch, Usyk will be stuck.....run, or get stopped. He is just too small and Fury is too frickin big and good.

He’s not a huge draw at any weight he had to go to Latvia to get a full house vs bredis and no one saw his fights with AJ in DAZN. I want the usyk loudmouths to explain how their Ukrainian hero who fights for honour and his country signed with the Saudis who are actively aiding the Russians? and fury is the greedybelly? Nothing is ever as simple as a fighter being driven solely by greed, or patriotism, or sporting achievement/legacy, or fear.
All fighters have those things in combination. Except fear. They understand what a lot of fans don't - they're not scared of a man. They've been punched a thousand times before. Why would they be scared?
Plenty of fighters were driven by money. I don't see either Fury or Usyk having that as their key driver.
I suspect Usyk is highly driven by sporting achievement. But that's not to say the money is irrelevant. It makes fights. And you don't undervalue yourself in this sport.
I think Fury is far less driven by sporting achievement. I think he's a status man. He likes his status and he's not taking any unnecessary risks with it. But, again, you can't ignore the money. He'll have a sense of his value and every man has his price.
I just can't see the fight happening. Fury doesn't need the fight and his price will be too high. Usyk will want the fight but he undersold himself at 30% and that won't happen again.
Joshua and Wilder can happen. Joshua v Fury can maybe happen - it's a fight I think Fury would like so he can stand clearly above AJ in British minds. I don't see Fury v Usyk happening unless Fury was without a belt for any reason.Comment
