I’ve said this in maybe every Valdez thread here lately. But people that don’t enjoy watching Oscar Valdez fight have lost their minds! He’s one of the very few warriors we have left in this game. He’ll stand and trade with anybody! He’s actually more fun to watch when he IS getting tagged. Cuz it brings out the dog in em! Shakur is the elite of the elite. Just can’t hit the guy, so I don’t even care about a ugly performance against him. Everyone has an ugly performance against him. Excluding that fight, Oscar is one fun exciting guy to watch!!

Aye I agree, not going to deny that him testing positive left a sour taste in my mouth but Oscar had a lot of drive willing to step up against anyone.

He dominated Quigg for twelve rounds after getting his jaw broken (in the sixth round) and knocked out Adam Lopez in the seventh round with his broken hand in their first bout.

He fought Genesis Servania, Scott Quigg, Adam Lopez (X2), Jayson Velez, Miguel Berchelt, Robson Coincecao and Shakur Stevenson. All ranked contenders during their time.

The Berchelt KO was one of my favorites in the history of the sport! So devastating!!

Navarrete is going to make it a fun fight the first half of the fight but after that Valdez is going to pick him apart with nasty shots. I’ll be surprised if Navarrete somehow manages to make it all twelve rounds, this is a fight that’ll take years of off him

If we get Usyk vs Tyson and Canelo vs Benavidez, it's probably the best year in Long time.

For some reason Navarette beats Shakur ex opponents in a more dominant fashion. Joet Gonzalez and Pitufo Diaz.
            Dominance comes in different ways.

Great chance for Valdez to get back on track. A winnable action packed fight. Time to get his jaw broken again.
