Bivol and Berbetiev are horrible fights for C. Berb even has the power to sleep him for the first time.
But if he doesn't take them then where does he go?
Pretty soon all roads lead be Benevitez

Ryder was his last easy option. I’d ask for every agency to test in this fight. Considering the camp, the signs of decline, and the history of said fighter and trainer, yeah, USADA and Vada. I’ve said it before, Bivol stops him in a rematch.

You know sampson and team benavidez are bullshiiitin when they say they'll take the bare minimum Lol c'mon, willing to take a probable L for a minor purse? Against a p4p cashcow? FOH sampson! I bet the cinnabon agrees to give them peanuts and they'll immediately complain. No doubt they really want canelo smoke but also get payed accordingly like anybody would.

I believe the Benavidez team. That's the approach that Mayweather made, more or less to fight De La Hoya, and it paid dividends. He received half the amount as Oscar, because he knew that a win VS DLH would open doors and it did. This investment ended up making Mayweather millions...if not a billion.

True that. But it can still backfire, would it worth the higher risk for a lower reward? Guess they feel that confident ,we'll find out soon

Canelo has done VADA for all his fights going back several years now, to when he unified at 168 lbs.

              He did it clean.

Most fighters these days are just looking to cash out, very few are willing to take less money in order to make the big fights happen. Those few understand that the big rewards come AFTERWARDS, if they can win. Not before.

The only guys recently who have done that are Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia. And now Benavidez.

Canelo will not fight Benavidez even if Benavidez said he'll fight him for a 50 dollar food stamp card. Just hearing the name of Benavidez makes Canelo's mouth get dry, and his balls shrink up into his stomach. Even Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder can see that Canelo is so scared to lose to Benavidez, that he'll dodge him forever if he can. But if the fight ever does get made, I got at least $5,000 on Benavidez

Also, champions don’t lose their belt by not making weight or going on coke binges.
Who cares this is the fight to make, its much better than a Bivol fight, Canelo is still really good and its a winnable fight for him and its very fan friendly.

I got a feeling this fight is going to made this year which is great to add to the already great year of boxing.

Actually, you are perfectly right! That's exactly what he's doing. And all these rumours of talks between their teams is just a smoke screen, to deflect the fact that he's not really planning on fighting him, just wants to play with him, and find a excuse like .. Benavidez is asking to much money, or they want this and that.. or we have a mandatory or .. whatever Canelo needs to avoid him. His ego is just too inflated. Getting schooled by Bivol was hard.. but not has hard as getting beat up by a young Mexican.

I agree completely, that this fight should be next.

Also, Benavidez dad shouldn’t throw stones from a glass house. His son lost the belt twice due to not doing what a champion is supposed to do.

So, I care. I’m a fan who follows boxing and reads interviews. So yeah, I care. Since you asked. I mean why else is this forum for and why does the staff upload these interviews? So they can be discussed by fans. So, again, I care.
