Yeah I also believe charlo is a bit more technical than mungia but the mexican is the younger hungrier pressure fighter and the layoff will def affect charlos perfomance one way or another, reason why I am doubtful mall will even consider jaime as return to the ring opponent. Beggin he proves me wrong tho.

Why does he not get better fights? Is it low reward high risk? Is it the promotional system? I am happy about his upcoming fight because D can fight well and it will be a good test. You would think Munguia would be marketable due to his style and you would think he would have had better opponents as of late.

Munguia keeps ducking anyone with a pulse. He likes them shot or with serious advantages his way. Adames and Andrade have made him offers. He's ducked repeatedly. He likes the fact Charlo has been out for far too long and that Gennady is shot. He just keeps mentioning them to buy time and fighting garbage. His comment on it being the opponent as to why better fights don't happen is a bare faced lie.

It’s the in-house, network bullcrap. A fight with Jermall Charlo seems to have been agreed to but Charlo’s side insisted that DAZN not be involved.

DAZN didn't wish to be involved though. They made that very clear when they went public with the comments.

Given the opportunities that Mungia has passed on, I would never describe him as hungry. Mungia is with GBP/DAZN, Charlo is with PBC. I seriously doubt either has the pull to make this fight.
