In fact I was referring only to the repeated trouble derived from drug and alcohol problems, that's why I specified "minus the belts won". Tapia was indeed on a much superior pugilistic level.

It takes a lot of courage for someone like Joseph Diaz to open up about their struggles with alcoholism and drugs.I can relate on a personal level, having faced my own battle with alcohol addiction. It's a challenging journey, but the first step is acknowledging the problem. It's great to hear that he's taken steps to kick his drug habit, and I hope he finds the support he needs on his path to recovery. Addiction recovery can be a tough road, but with determination and the right resources, it's possible to come out stronger.
