The HW scene is pretty pathetic at the moment. Fury looking to retire in a few years and looking for big money fights only. And to be honest, he has no big names apart from Joshua and Usyk. Usyk is not a big draw and is more worried a rematch than becoming undisputed, Joshua is his biggest money maker but Hearn will not allow Joshua anywhere near Fury.

I hear people saying Fury should fight this guy, or that guy. But Fury is nearing the end if his career and wants big money.

Boxing is in a pretty crap state, and the HW division has gone from interesting to a bore.

Good fight for Joshua as a contender, it had to be made now or never.

It is not a world level fight, but it is a slightly higher rated fight than Franklin 'And a fight which involves big jeopardy for Joshua'.

I see hardcore Fury fans complaining, when really what they are doing is? Taking their frustration out on Joshua, due to Fury's conduct as a Champion.

Fury's last two fights, have pretty much been at the same level as Franklin & Whyte 'Because of course he fought Whyte'.

And lets make one thing clear? It was a under par performance from Fury vs Whyte 'Up until the knock-out he was doing nothing'.

Pretty similar to Liam Smith vs Chris Eubank Junior. Great that Liam Smith got the win, and was marginally the better fighter during the fight.

But really the knock-out embellished his entire performance, it was no domination 'It was no Mike Tyson vs Alex Stewart type performance'.

What is more concerning is that Whyte could hardly move, but was still finding Fury inside the ring 'I personally think it was a competitive fight'.

I am honestly not sure why Fury's hardcore fans are piping up of late. Fury has made a tactical mistake in not fighting Usyk or Joshua when he could of 'Back during last December for Joshua and earlier this year in April for Usyk'.

The longer these fights take to be made, the likely-hood for Fury wining decreases 'Because this is not my personal assessment, it is just a observable fact'.

Tyson Fury throughout his entire career, has not really displayed the work ethic and traits which for a fighter endorse longevity 'Where as in comparison, I believe Usyk, Joshua and even Wilder display these traits more evidently'.

Note: Although Tyson Fury is trying of late to dedicate to training and live a ascetic lifestyle. In a competition of who is going to be the last man standing, you have to wonder which one of these fighters is going to go off track 'Ultimately I believe it will be these finer details and work ethics. That will lay a factor in which one of these fighters will be the last man standing from their era' etc.

Dunno why people hating on this fight so much they both looked bad against Franklin so we will see what's what when they go head to head, the lead up to it will be worth it alone considering how much they hate each other.

Joshua fights are always worth a watch, especially now, because the chinny bodybuilder is so vulnerable to get knocked out by any average HW, and you wouldn't want to miss it live

Whyte was never great and now he's shot. I can't get excited about this one.

Totally agree. Hearn seems dead-set and obsessed on making a Aj-White rematch regardless of how diminished the appetite for it - and the changing events around him. He did the same thing in insisting on Canelo fighting the unnecessary third fight with GGG even after Canelo lost his previous fight with Bivol and the logical thing was to have an immediate rematch.

What’s even worse is how Whyte seems to feel entitled to and deserving of big fights even after his disgraceful non-effort against Fury and gift win against Franklin.
