Comments Thread For: Dana White To Tyson Fury: You Want Title of Baddest Man on Planet? I'll Make Jon Jones Fight!

UFC president Dana White has long said that he's not going to do any 'gimmick fights' - but he's more than willing to finalize a showdown between UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones and WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Last month, Fury and Jones traded words on social media.

This would be great. More mouthwatering than floyd v connor. But I always thought Jones was best light heavyweight, not baddest at heavyweight

Ngannou was the champ but UFC contracts are very shhh. Dana kept putting him on hold to not fulfill contract to test free agency. In tern Jon Jones stayed suspended or chilling for like 3 years so ngannou left to go get that money 8m a fight plus ppv win or lose while UFC was offering back to 500k if lose any fight low ppv % and a boss that doesn't like you and openly trashes you and freezes you out any chance. Plus wasnt going to allow a boxing match where would make x4 the money would normally get for less risk on the body.

Why would Fury step into the UFC to get choked out for 1.5 million dollars, Dana is delusional, if Jon wants the huge pay day he can step into a boxing ring to earn more than his entire career purses combined.

            Exactly.

Tyson Fury isn’t taking a drastic paycut to fight in the octagon.

The real money is to be made in a boxing match between these two.

The so called fighting man wont even fight most of the top contenders in his own sport.

I don`t even know who Dana is, but he is delusional.

Tyson Fury isn`t even fighting top 10 contenders in his own sport. What makes Dana believe Tyson Fury would agree to get destroyed in the fight under UFC rules for much less money than he can get in boxing?

Dana clearly didn't see what Glowacki did to an MMA guy last night. Tyson Fury will be sending Jones the contract shortly, Dana, don't worry about that. Nash out
