Listen, if Beterbiev would have feared Yarde, he wouldn't have fought him the way he did. He is a smart boxer, and he's way better technically than people give him credit for. If he would have felt danger, he would have boxed more, and waited longer before going in for the kill. If he chose to go head in, it's because he wasn't that impressed or intimidated, thus .. the KO in the eight. Yarde gave it his all, but he was burning up rapidly. He had some good sequences, and he fought the fight of his life, but anyone who had seen all of Beterbiev's fight knew where this was headed. BUT I stand by what I said: Gvozdyk was his toughest fight, his hardest win.

I never said Beterbiev was scared. You said that, not me. But the reason to why Yarde went around the 8th was due to his stamina being quite poor. But before that, Beterbiev was cautious of what was coming back. It was a two way war. Beterbiev didn't act that way at the end of the fight for no reason.

Beterbiev was compact the whole way through. He didn't just open up on him. You have Yarde and Smith Jr mixed up here.

Gvozdyk was trickier and Brown was harder. Yarde never really hurt him, or he would have changed strategy. it's just that Beterbiev is so confident, he just come forward without much apprehension, thus he will always get hit some.
