I love how Canelo fans assume Alvarez wasn't at 100%, but believe Bivol was at 100% himself. It'll take everything Canelo has to match what Bivol does in 2nd gear. And what happens when Bivol ups the tempo or throws a few more wrinkles in his game? It'll just be the same gap as in the first fight. You're hoping like hell that the same exact version of Bivol shows up and not expecting the very real possibility that Bivol will get even better in the rematch, if it even happens.

It is clear that Canelo was not at his best. He did have problems with his wrist after all even to the point that he had to have corrective surgery. In my opinion, the surgery is the only reason to believe that Canelo might win a rematch. I am a Canelo fan, but it is clear that Bivol's style is wrong for Canelo. As everyone knows, all other things being equal, styles make the deciding difference. The better fight is a fight with Benavidez. That is the one that will bring out a record number of fans.

I think most of canelo"s fights are uneventful and yes even boring. Even the ones with kos aside from the ko they're uneventful. The absolute same can be said about Bivol...very boring style. The only fight I would watch from canelo is vs Benavidez and the only fight with Bivol is vs Beterbiev.
