If Lopez is inthe right space mentally, he can get some of his mojo back in the ring.

That is, the Teofimo before the previous two fights. He has said stuff I'm sure he does regret, though he's not admitting that now.

A breakup with his wife and the serious health scare are quite traumatic life stuff. If he is at peace, then he can do show better form in the ring again.

Teofimo lives in a great state (New York), but he is not in a great state mentally.
The mere fact that his soon to be ex-wife doesn't feel comfortable with with him seeing his son is a major concern.
Anyone who has heard Teofimo talk is aware, or should be aware that he has no emotional self control.

Never a good sign when a fighter starts bringing up personal stuff as an excuse for bad performances. Everyone goes through hard times in their pesonal lives, you have to find a way, pretty sure he'll look for another excuse after the Taylor fight.

He had a very good run as an prospect and beat a great champion in Lomachenko but he burned out, it happened to a lot of great young people with great talent and promise, a lot of people peak in high school/college then become average, you can't be average in boxing.

I have no advice on how to fix Teos issues, no insight. Boxing is a spectator sport and mental is a big part of the game. When Teo says he's afraid of what his ex wife is going to do to him. Those are points in Taylor's favor, Lopez better hope Taylor comes depleted.

He did not look well after his last fight , his ex has always given me bad/toxic vibes not letting him hold his baby .Then there is dad who is just as bad and probably worse than the ex wife .The mental state of a fighter is huge in this sport , Teo has been going thru it for awhile.He should dump the dad and seek help should have done it before this fight get right mentally then comeback.
