He can stun and surprise Cotto with his power, but Cotto took right hand bombs from Mosley for 12 rounds without getting KOed, and 11 rounds of nonstop pressure from Margarito before going down. I'm not going to say Pacquiao has power like Mosley or Margarito until he proves it to me.

If there is a stoppage, it will be because of accumulation of punches on a tired Cotto, which I don't think will happen.

Honestly though, who other than Paulie has not been able to hurt Cotto?

Many fighters have hit and hurt Cotto but couldnt finish him off
with exception to Margarito and that took 10 rounds to do and
Margarito is a way bigger guy than Manny. Cotto still managed
to fight while getting clobbered and Manny doesnt have nowhere
next to the strength that the guys who hit Cotto has. Manny is
going to have to fight a technical fight but in my honest opinion
I just dont think Manny is that much of a technical fighter as he
is fast. Once he hits Cotto with his best Cotto is going to answer
back and not just stand there and get beat up like Diaz and Oscar
did and not going to come in off his game like Hatton. Im not too
blown away by Cotto technically but he has shown heart and displayed
some skill even though I believe he is too vulnerable at times. If Manny
cannot somehow neutralize Cotto pressure or add some of his own to
back Cotto up then Cotto wins by KO. Cotto fights his best fight on
the offensive and not defensive.

Now you are sparring with the current P4P and one of the fastest hands (if not the fastest) in the sport.
