Roy is not as dumb as a few of you think. Granted he is at the end of his career and not had the media behind him as ODL may have, he has still done a good job managing his career. Hopkins NEEDS this fight. Hopkins is NOT a major draw.

Yeah it's amazing how Jones keeps getting big fights on his terms. 50/50 for Calzaghe? 50/50 for Jones? I think other boxers have a lot more respect for Jones and his legacy than his fans do. Not to mention he's still a big draw although he never really was in his prime.

...people would rather pay to watch jones get ko'd, than hopkins beat up on a fighter half his size...

Alright I went overboard but some of the things that come out of this guys mouth are absolutely ridiculous. Sometimes I wonder if he is insane. Jones makes excuses for fights that he wins never mind the ones that he loses. Just look at the way he talks. He gets all hyped up and sounds like a two year old. You have to admit sometimes he seems like he ain't all there.

It'll be good seeing him get knocked the fuck out again. I missed seeing him on the canvas.

Wrong, Hopkins will be on HBO PPV regardless. Jones is the one who needs a big name opponent and Hopkins is his only choice. Otherwise he will remain on low budget dicount pay per view fighting stiffs until he gets ktfo.

Hopkins won't be on HBO PPV for fighting Williams, Adamek, Johnson or Dawson. Especially after his fight with Pavlik bombed worse than Young MC's sop****re LP.

That's because when he was in his prime all he did was fight lunch ladies and no hope'rs. Either that or moving up to challenge the worst heavyweight alive.
