Another cab driver for Boots. Crowley would be too risky. Crowley is a legit guy with some very solid wins.

This should be a damn good fight, Villa is coming off of defeating two undefeated fighter's, could there be a third in the card's.

You think Ugas and Thurman are willing to face Boots???? I’m sure they inquired with both before settling on Villa.

Villa is better than all others you mentioned.

Based on what is he better than Crowley?

Villa is not top 10 by The Ring.

Who has Crowley beaten better than speedy Ellis?

                    Abdukakhorov and Ramos.

If Ellis was any good, Villa would be recognized top 10 by The Ring.

Ugas will fight anyone, thats without question, especially if it means for a mandatory shot (interim belt) at the top dog of the ww division.

Thurman on the other hand, not so sure. But money talks AND Boots has the exclusive contract and money backing from Showtime.

So yeah, Im pretty sure they werent contacted. Boots took this fight to preseve his 0 and wait for a chance to fight the winner of Crawf/Spence.

And no, Villa is NOT better than all those Ive mentioned as beating Ellis doesnt prove that he is.
