not saying in 100% confident in Ryan beating Cruz lol but he deft matches better against him. Tank fought Cruz with one hand— you can’t take much away from that fight other than Cruz couldn’t even beat a one handed tank. People look at Ryan as damaged goods now. Not sure why. There’s no shame in losing to tank. Doesn’t mean you’re no good. I think Ryan has a really good chance against most fighters not named tank Davis.

This is true, but I think the height was such a big issue mostly because Tank defense was better than he expected. That’s not the case with Cruz lol. He’s there to be hit.

Cruz's pressure style makes him available for counter-punching, but Davis found it difficult to break the peek-a-boo defense. Ryan will have his moments to counter, but he'll also have to be wary of incoming hooks. I like the match-up, but I bet Ryan would want to drag Cruz up to 140. Ryan needs to focus solely on the 140lbers.

Perhaps there is some thing I am missing, but it doesn't seem like he is complaining but rather answering questions. Nobody on the stream actually knows if his body had the ability to get up or not. Too many excuses, I think when a guy talks it up real big before a fight and then flicks the script after it then I don't listen to their excuses to save face, if he had made concerns about the fight prior, it would be different, don't tell everybody for mths how great you are, how youre in fantastic shape blah blah and then come with a whole new story on losing, be true in winning and losing then you won't feel like they left you.
