Here’s what I think happened: That BLK Prime money wasn’t real and he didn’t make near what was reported.
He didn’t have any other real options so he did what he had to do to make the Spence fight.
I don’t think Haymon came closer to what Crawford originally wanted. He came to them and accepted a deal close to his actual value.

Why would the terms change after he had a ppv fight that reportedly sold less than 80k?

So now it's confirmed Terence "Bud" Crawford and Errol "The Truth" Spence worked it out between themselves and made the fight happen.

No. I just cant see why the deal would change given the failure of the ppv sales and the lack of options for Crawford.

Ok so we get this fight now that these two are slightly past their prime. Glad to see that these two realized that the more stalling that occurred, just raised more disinterest

Not surprised that cutting Al Haymon out of the initial stuff also cut out a lot of the BS...

Promoters stand in the way of a lot of fights if only more boxers with their trainers talked more and put it in the public to put the pressure on the promotions to make fights we want to see

I believe it changed after they spoke to eachother, as I cant fathom Bud going back on what he initially walked away from. Could be wrong though.
