Because we've seen smaller "HIGHLY SKILLED" fighters go to the higher weight class and win. "Floyd vs. Oscar, Cotto, and Canelo!" Crawford is definitely capable of winning.

A shell of his old self? LOL. He has 3 world titles and beat Ugas who was a black horse in the welterweight division with momentum on his side.

I just hope Errol don’t have another one of those moments he had with Ugas when he froze and appeared to be stunned.

I believe I heard Errol say he froze because he thought his teeth came out or something.

I just hope he stays really defensively responsible because Crawford does have one shot power that can change or potentially end the fight.

I see Crawford as the favorite in this one as well. Spence looked his best vs Ugas but, Bud isn't Ugas. The best version of Spence seen to date is fundamentally sound, good cardio and strong but, Crawford brings more to the table. That said, I'm biased since he's my favorite boxer of this era.

And Boots has definitely never faced a “real opponent” but somehow the things you said about Crawford don’t apply to him. And Spence’s two best victories were against Kell Brook and Shawn Porter who Crawford defeated much easier moving up in weight and not being a career long welterweight like Errol Spence.

Well said. Americans tend to hype their boxers far beyond their achievement. Boots hasn't fought a live dog but some of them have already deemed the best of the division. It's quite premature and ridiculous. The guy surely has potential but it doesn't equate to being the best, he has to prove himself vs live dogs and the elites of the division.
