Comments Thread For: Shakur Stevenson Doesn't Believe Spence-Crawford Is a 50/50 Clash, Siding With Crawford

Two elite fighters smack-dab in the middle of the primes have apparently left oddsmakers unable to detect a winner. After years of vacillating, both Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. finally immured themselves into a room until they were each satisfied with their fight contracts.

I tend to agree, I mean if this fight would of taken place 3 or 4 years ago, I would most likely say Spence has the advantage and should be the favorite. But it's 2023, Spence has had a car accident with serious injuries, eye problems, ect ect, so it's not Spence at 100%, so yeah, Crawford should have the advantage and win, I mean if he can't beat Spence now, it says everything about Crawford, especially with him never having a signature win, and even if he does win, it doesn't automatically put him as the best P4P, at this point he needs to do more than just beating Spence, who is a shell of his old self....

I watched a little documentary on Crawford, it changed the way I looked at him as a person and fighter, turned me into fan, I’ve seen quite a few of his fights and im rooting for the guy.

Even with the accident, the eye, the inactivity, it's still a 50/50 fight!

Spence isn't a great fighter, but he is a great pro, what he does he does very well, but I've been saying for months now this will be an easy fight for Crawford, Crawford is an elite fighter, he wins this by TKO, or maybe even a ko

this is the definition of 50 50- no one can predict this until they step in the ring
im not bitching or complaining or nutriding anyone. respect to their teams and may the nest man win.

I never gave Spence a chance against Bud until the Ugas fight. That was by far Spence’s best performance. If he shows up with that kind of pressure it will be a 50/50 fight.

How do you know he is a shell of his old self. Which performance since his accident made you come to that conclusion?

I won't know that Crawford is an elite fighter, until he faces a real fighter at 147! He has not done so, and Spence has multiple times! That's why I say it's still 50/50! BTW, I think Boots beats them both!

I have questioned Crawford his entire career . Even when he became undisputed I thought the Calibre of competition was garbage. Even fighters that were ok , not elite such as Postol he got across the line without looking spectacular. Now he is up at Welterweight and he beat a school teacher to get his belt. I know Bud is skilled but I want to see him in with a killer. That Killer is Spence. I’m rooting for Spence but if Bud wins I will be the first to give him his flowers. If Crawford beats Spence there will be no excuse from me about his injury. His body has healed from the crash and he is ready to fight. May the best man win
