Oh Please. Don’t run back the Cruz fight. Davis won clearly with an injured hand. Take on one of the risky fights for a change. This is why Tank gets very little respect from fans and Calvin Ford and Ellerbe sound like snakeskin salesmen trying to convince people Davis is a big star.

They are testing the waters right now getting people used to the idea after that they will make the fight and make the money and people (not all) will buy it up. As long as people pay to see it they will put it out there. G.Davis is officially on CruzControl right now. As a matter of fact he has always been on cruise control with his opponents. Time to step up - i guess he has to pay another judge in another town so why sweat it just fight Crud who is Crusin for a Brusin anyhow...............

Davis doesn’t want any part of Haney - people forget how irritated and rattled he became in the press conference after the Garcia fight when he was asked about Haney. In fact, Davis even pulled out the “This is my night” line that Canelo used after Andrade crashed his press conference after the Saunders fight and started pressing Canelo to stop ducking him. Davis knows he’ll have to work 3 minutes of all 12 rounds against a bigger guy whose hand speed is equal if not better. He’ll beg Cruz for a rematch before he fights Haney.

I agree with 95% of this but I don’t think Davis-Cruz 2 will do well at all on PPV. People are figuring out Davis is an explosive fighter in the ring but not really an exciting one. Garcia is the reason the Tank-Ryan fight did 1 million buys.
